Payment Method

Monthly payments can be made via bank transfer or cash. By paying in advance the sessions are discounted. This is to be paid on the first training session of the month at the latest. If payment for the forthcoming month is not received on time, then the Pay As You Train amount will be charged for every session of that month.

Holidays

If you are ill or on holiday for a time you have paid we will not be able to give you your money back as the hall hire has to be paid regardless of your attendance. It may work out cheaper for holiday time to pay for individual sessions attended.

Licence Fees

It is the policy of the British Judo Council that ALL students must hold a valid BJC Licence to take part in judo.

B.J.C. Provisional Licence

New members may take out a Provisional Licence which includes insurance cover and is valid for 3 months. After this time, if the students wish to continue wtih the sport, they will require a full BJC licence.

B.J.C. Full Licence

A full BJC Licence enables the student to participate in gradings, competitions and courses.  Whilst we take every care to ensure the safety of members, judo is, after all, both a martial art and a physical contact sport and it is important that students are properly insured.
