Payment Method

Monthly payments arranged by Standing Order - forms will be distributed to members at the start of each year or when they join the Club (by paying in advance the sessions are discounted).

Where members cannot or do not want to pay by Standing Order, we ask for a cheque or cash payment for the forthcoming month (by paying in advance the sessions are discounted). This is to be paid on the first training session of the month at the latest. If payment for the forthcoming month is not received on time, then the Individual Session amount will be charged for every session of that month.

Holidays

If you give us 1 weeks' notice, then we will refund you for that session.

Licence Fees

It is the policy of the British Judo Council that ALL students must hold a valid BJC Licence to take part in judo.

BJC Provisional Licence

New members may take out a Provisional Licence which includes insurance cover and is valid for 3 months. After this time, if the students wish to continue wtih the sport, they will require a full BJC licence.

BJC Full Licence

A full BJC Licence enables the student to participate in gradings, competitions and courses.  Whilst we take every care to ensure the safety of members, judo is, after all, both a martial art and a physical contact sport and it is important that students are properly insured.

BJC Licence costs from 1st September 2010

Junior New Members £19.50 plus £6.50 insurance: £26.00

Senior New Members £24.50 plus £6.50 insurance: £31.00
