Training Fees
Primary Sessions (1 hour)
Pay As You Train: £6 pw.
£20 pcm to be paid on the first of the month
Junior & Senior Sessions (1.5 hours)
Pay As You Train: £7 pw.
£24 pcm to be paid on the first of the month
Family discount
Where there is more than one person training with us, a discount of £3 per person is taken off the monthly training fee.
Example: 2 primaries training with us: £20 for the first, £17 for the second (£37 total)
1 junior & 1 primary: £24 for the first, £17 for the second (£40 total)
1 senior & 2 juniors: £24 for the first, £21 for the second and third (£66 total)
Payment Method
Monthly payments can be made via bank transfer or cash. By paying in advance the sessions are discounted. This is to be paid on the first training session of the month at the latest. If payment for the forthcoming month is not received on time, then the Pay As You Train amount will be charged for every session of that month.
Grading Fees
Gradings are usually held 3 times a year with a mat fee of £5.00 per student.
Licence Fees
It is the policy of the British Judo Council that ALL students must hold a valid BJC Licence to take part in judo.
B.J.C. Provisional Licence
New members may take out a Provisional Licence which includes insurance cover for training only and is valid for 3 months. On expiry and with the production of the provisional licence the £10.00 will be removed from the full membership price and a licence for a further 9 months issued. Once in receipt of a full membership, members will be able to attend courses and grade.

A full BJC Licence enables the student to participate in gradings, competitions and courses. Whilst we take every care to ensure the safety of members, judo is, after all, both a martial art and a physical contact sport and it is important that students are properly insured.
